Still in time to enjoy the Holmes County Chocolate Walk! (Today is the last day!)

Today (April 6, 2019) is the last day of the Holmes County Chocolate Walk.

The chocolate walk is an event where you walk around a town and visit participating businesses who will give you a chocolate treat. The typical chocolate walk features 8 to 10 businesses. The Holmes County Chocolate Walk however is a like a chocolate walk on steroids! We have 58 participating businesses throughout 3 villages (which means there is some hopping into your car along the way) excited to give you a decadent chocolate treat!

This is the packet you would receive when you purchase a Chocolate Walk Passport. (Still available, but call ahead because we’re nearly sold out.) If you’re able to get your passport, it will be at the The Ultimate Girls Day Out at the Catholic Center on S Crawford Street in Millersburg from 9a – 4pm.

The Holmes County Chocolate Walk on April 4, 5 and 6 has 58, yes 58! participating businesses giving out chocolate treats. They are all listed on the Chocolate Walk Passport with their location and hours of operation so you can plan your walk according to hours they are open.

In addition to the 58 businesses, there are another 12 and possibly more today Saturday April 6th at the Ultimate Girls Day Out located in Millersburg at the Catholic Center on S Crawford St who will also be giving chocolate treats and stamping your passports.

The Food Pantry at the Millersburg Church of God is hosting a Chocolate Walk fundraiser. Businesses throughout Millersburg, Berlin and Walnut Creek have signed up to give out a chocolate delicacy during the event from Coblentz Chocolates to homemade brownies and buckeyes to cookies and cakes to chocolate fountain to chocolate martinis – So Much Chocolate & one more day to Indulge in It!

Only 300 passports for the event will be sold! Tickets are first come-first served and are available today (confirmed as of 7:50 am Saturday morning) by ordering online at www.holmeschocolatewalk.com and picking them up at the Jewelry Store in Millersburg until noon or The Ultimate Girls Day Out at the Catholic Center on S Crawford Street in Millersburg from 9a – 4pm.

Chocolate Passport holders will not only be able to fill a goody bag full of chocolates during the event, but also earn entries into a drawing for a Carmel Kiss chocolate-colored diamond necklace valued at over $1000!! Your Passport will be stamped when you visit each participating business, with a second stamp earned if you make a purchase at the business, and a third stamp given if you take a picture in the business and post it on social.

All proceeds from the Holmes County Chocolate Walk will be used by The Pantry at Millersburg Church of God to help families in need of groceries. The Pantry serves an average of 90 families each week.
